Which is why we asked professional surf photographer Lucia Griggi (who is even giving courses if you wanna get in deeper) to share her best tips with us.

A place we have yet to know the name of. A place where perfect A-frame peaks hit the shoreline consistently. A palm tree haven….

Underwater Beauty
Shot in the depths of Maui, Hawaii, this was by no means an easy shot to get. With battering waves above and churned-up water, the hunt for the turtle took us a good few days. Finally, I took this portrait of model Emma Skinner and turtle ‘Alfred’ deep on the reef of Maui’s undiscovered depths. Shot with the 5D with the 15mm 2.8 in an underwater housing.
